The Man, Chief Charles Ugochukwu Ahize

Excepts of a main article yet to be published.

At the 1995 Constitutional conference, I, Chief Charles  Ahize supported and also presented materials through the then MD of Champion news papers, Chief Emma Agu from Mbano so that Dr Alex Ekwueme can present rotational Presidency as a proposal to be submitted as an amendment to  the constitution of Nigeria, but unfortunately, Alhaji Umaru Dikko and the northern group voted it down, and that’s how Nigeria was divided into 6 geo political zones.

When Savannah bank's license was wrongly revoked to punish SEN Jim Nwobodo, an Igbo man, I Chief Charles Ahize fought the federal govt with my group OBIGBO (my well known socio political pressure group).

I and my group also fought for the award of Ore to Asaba express road that everyone is enjoying now. Also when the  federal government detained the Igbo Senate President, Late Senator Chuba Okadigbo, I fought the federal govt and organized a rally that shut down Tafawa Belewa Square Lagos for Okadigbo. The records are there.

In 1999 when Dr Alex Ekwueme of Igbo extraction was running to be President of Nigeria,  I floated and founded Ekwueme vanguard to mobilize Igbo businessmen and youths in Lagos for him.  I will stop so far as the campaigns have not commenced.

To be continued.

Charles Ugochukwu Ahize
