Members Elect Rt. Hon. Emeka Nduka as New Speaker.

Imo State House of Assembly is at it again, as. Speaker Kennedy Ibeh representing Obowo State Constituency has been forced to resign as speaker.

He has been replaced with member representing Ehime Mbano State Constituency, Emeka Nduka. This is about the fifth speaker since 2019 to preside the State Assembly.

There is a new leadership of Imo State House of Assembly as the former speaker, Rt. Hon. Kennedy Ibeh resigns from the position.

According to information close to the Assembly, the members said Ibeh resigned and to avoid vacuum in leadership of the house, the members has elected Rt. Hon. Emeka Nduka from Ehime Mbano state constituency as the New Speaker of the house.

Recall that under Governor Hope Uzodinma the Imo State House of Assembly has had four speakers as  impeachment of Speakers remains the order of the day.

Today, the Speaker, Kennedy Ibeh, was compelled by the powers-that- be to announce that he resigned. The truth remains that after all the hatchet jobs he did, he was ordered to resign and his shameful removal from office.

Remember, Chiji Collins as Speaker was impeached by the cabals, followed by
Paul Emeziem.

Information also stated that Ibeh did not carry his members along in the scheme of things. One of the members disclosed "we are happy that he is out".

Now, they have chosen Nduka Emeka from Ehime Mbano as Speaker. Four Speakers in two years has indeed entered into the Guinness Book of Record!
