The Super Eagles forward scored twice against Brest on Sunday to equal Neymar and Mbappe’s tally for the season.
Terem Moffi
scored a double against Brest to score his 8th goal of the season – as many as
Neymar and Kylian Mbappe.
Moffi has now
scored 8 in 10 games and has now scored in every 101 minutes, the third-best
rate in the league behind Paris Saint Germain’s two attacking beauties.
The Nigerian
has been one of the best in the league this season and has matched his last
season's goals return in just 10 games.
Moffi’s first
goal came in the 24th minute before completing his double in the 53rd minute.
The attacker has earned rave reviews this season and has also played his way
into the current Super Eagles setup despite the avalanche of players at coach,
Jose Peseiro’s disposal.
The former
Kortrijk star has gone on to become a real star for Lorient this season and
would cause teams to raise their heads in his direction after being linked with
a transfer away from the club last season.
Moffi is
powering Lorient to an impossible title push as they have won their last five
games and are reeling in confidence at the moment.
Lorient
currently sits second on the log with 25 points, just a point behind league
leaders, PSG.
