Ladan Bosso’s side defeated hosts Argentina right inside the Estadio San Juan del Bicentenario on Wednesday night.

Coming into the Round of 16 as one of the best losers, having finished third in Group D in the preliminary rounds, the African nation proved to be a side to reckon with.

It was all about the Nigerian side in the early exchanges as the Flying Eagles pressed high while maintaining possession.

Argentina failed to hold on to the ball and struggled to generate play as the Nigerian boys continued to pile the pressure.
