As the second term Inauguration of the People's Governor, His Excellency, Distinguished Senator Hope Uzodimma takes centre stage Monday, January 15, 2024, the Special Adviser to the Governor, on Print Media, Sir Amby Uneze has sent a message of congratulations to his boss, the Governor.
Uneze also felicitates with the deputy governor-elect, Lady Chinyere Ihuoma Ekomaru who would be inaugurated on Monday, January 15, 2024 for the first time as the deputy governor of the State.
In his message of congratulations, he prays for God's protection, good health and wisdom on the Governor, his family and the deputy governor to be able to administer good governance for the people of the State.
He urged Imolites to continue to support the governor and his policies so as to make the State a better place for all of us.
The Media Adviser, also appealed to those who are in courts challenging the outcome of the November 11, 2023 governorship election in the State to withdraw their cases and join hands with the governor to build the State to greater heights.
He commended the governor for declaring while speaking during the Inauguration/Armed Forces Remembrance Mass at Maria Assumpta Cathedral Church, Owerri on Sunday, "I will not have been the governor of Imo State without the approval of God.
"In the cause of doing this job, I have whole heatedly forgiven those who wronged me. And I plead those who I wronged to also forgive me. I am an ordinary mortal. Let us join hands together to build our dear State," he stated.
