The above quotation by a Zimbabwean Islamic Cleric and public speaker captures succinctly the motive of my response to the "pull him down" proponents and persons of low quality. Because such persons are afraid to be identified and confronted, they usually resort to name-calling as a result of their inferiority complex in the society.
I was shocked to receive a call from a close friend Thursday and he drew my attention to an article written about three years ago concerning the political situation of Imo State at the time when insecurity ravaged the state. Ordinarily, I was tempted to ignore the activities of those charlatans, but considering the evil motives of their action which was targeted to poisoning the mind of the innocent society and His Excellency, the Executive Governor of Imo State, Distinguished Senator Hope Uzodimma as well as to harm the "God favoured one," I decided to correct the misconception.
It is not a hidden fact that former members of the PDP in the State had at one time or the other criticized some of the activities of the state government. To mention a few, Ambrose Nwogwugwu who formulated the tag 'Supreme Court Governor', Ogubundu Nwadike, some former commissioners and about 90% of the former appointees of the state government were critics of Distinguished Senator Hope Uzodimma. But today, this set of people remain the backbone of His Excellency's administration because they saw the good works he has been doing in the state and decided to key in.
More importantly, it is pertinent to state here that almost all the disgusting points raised in the said article had been tackled and amicably solved by His Excellency, Distinguished Senator Hope Uzodimma in his first term.
Undoubtedly, available records currently show that the insecurity in the State has been controlled, there are massive infrastructure development scattered all over the state, such as quality dual carriage roads, improved healthcare facilities, quality education system (tertiary, secondary and primary levels), youths empowerment, regular payment of salaries to civil servants and pensioners, just to mention a few.
The 2023 presidential election had come and gone and His Excellency's prediction came to pass. Now, His Excellency has moved on to become not only the Chairman of the APC Governors' Forum but a political rallying figure of the South East geopolitical zone.
To nail the mischief makers further, if their motive to reinvent an old article of over three years was novel, what stops them from reviewing the current articles which I wrote since His Excellency in his gracious wisdom considered me for appointment as his Special Adviser on Print Media for five months?
Even before my appointment by His Excellency in September last year, he already knew my background and where I was coming from. That notwithstanding, he saw in me a veritable mind that would fit into his progressive vision to drive his people-oriented agenda. His Excellency is a national figure and does not believe in negative thinking as the purveyors of the misinformation and falsehood would think.
It is apparently disgusting that some of the so-called political friends of His Excellency that enjoyed juicy appointments from the Governor for four years disappointed him. While His Excellency meant well for the people of the state through good governance, some of his appointees were busy involved in land grabbing and housing racketeering, others did one nasty deals or the other. Honestly, the governor should have by now jailed some of them, but as a kind-hearted Catholic, he is taking everything softly.
Since September 1, 2023, when His Excellency appointed me his Special Adviser on Print Media, I opened up channel of interactions with the media at local and national levels. I had audience with publishers in the state, members of the Correspondents Chapel of NUJ, and the Editors to draw their support for the re-election of His Excellency by publishing news stories and opinion articles highlighting the benefits of the infrastructural developments in road construction, new hospitals built in Ohaji-Egbema, Oguta and Oru East local government areas, empowerment of the youths through the Skill-Up programmes, improved security, etc.
I also interfaced with the state chairman of NUJ and other media actors with a view to drawing the support of the media to His Excellency's programmes.
Within the period under review, I did series of publications of articles to promote the activities of His Excellency. The articles included but not limited to:

(2) had series of ward meetings strategizing on how to win November 11 governorship election for His Excellency
(3) Won my Booth O16 in Nguru Nwenkwo ward for APC
(4) Won my Ward (Nguru Nwenkwo) for APC
(5) Won my Local Government Area (Aboh Mbaise) for APC.
It is pertinent to state that through the collective efforts of stakeholders, Aboh Mbaise was able to record the first win for APC in the November 11, 2023 Governorship Election since 1999, a feat that was made possible by the able ingenuity of His Excellency who strategically engaged some of us to achieve the success.
Having seen the light at the end of the tunnel, I feel satisfied to have worked with the People's Governor, Distinguished Senator Hope Agenda, who has brought light, life, love and massive development to the good people of Imo State. Therefore, I have no regrets working with this compassionate and peace-loving leader who gave me the opportunity to serve my State in that capacity.
Truely, I am most grateful to the People's Governor, His Excellency, Distinguished Senator Hope Uzodimma and I believe in him.
