Famous Nigerian preacher Chukwuemeka Ohanaemere, also known as Odumeje, with many titles he ascribes to himself, causes a stir, listing certain courses he called "useless".
In a recent video, he urged young Nigerians seeking admissions into the universities to avoid applying for those courses.
However, from the unexpected source of the self-appointed Indabosky Bahose, the preacher and general overseer of The Mountain of Holy Ghost Intervention and Deliverance Ministry, describe those course as not useful to them.
In a trending sermon , the Liquid Metal directed his message to “all these poor people”, specifically those whose fathers do not have any connection in politics or government.
“Don’t go to school and begin this course. It’s a useless course, Political Science. Your father is not a politician. You don’t know anybody in government or politics, you’ll enter school from a low-income family, and you’ll go and study Political Science. What are you going to do with that course? It’s a useless course,” he said.
In addition to politics, the spitfire preacher also advised young Nigerians about their career prospects, especially related to their course of study.
He continued, “Another one is history. Which history? Somebody will just look for admission, get the admission, and you’ll spend four years in school and study history. Which history?”
“Mungo Park history or what? Or Nigerian British discovery nonsense? What history are you reading? Bible history?”
The Abido Shaker, a musician , further listed Microbiology, Sociology and Library Information Science as “useless” courses that must be avoided at all costs.
“It is better if you go and learn to be a barber. We don’t waste our time now, we don’t waste our money on nonsense. For education to bless your family, let the course in your school have meaning.
“That’s why many people, after they finish school, end up in Upper Iweka or the Main Market. When you see educated people in business, you will know. Please avoid these courses I called now. I will still call more,” he said.
Aside from education, the lion himself has made known his desire to run for the office of the President of Nigeria.
In a video that surfaced over the weekend, Odumeje said God confirmed that he would be elected into office in 2027.
“And when God confirms, no human being can stop it.
My mission is to speak, but God is a perfectionist. When God found out that the State of Israel had been messed up, he located a young man (David) in the bush and told him, “You are taking over to put things in order in Israel.”
“I am not nobody. I am somebody. I’m a man of power. And I know what Nigeria needs to put things right,” he said.
Although he refused to divulge information about his campaign, he said that his running mate is ‘Alihu’.
