In the complex world of Nigerian politics, where shifting allegiances and opportunism often dominate, there are rare individuals whose actions reveal a deeper sense of loyalty, love, and integrity. For Barr. C.O.C Akaolisa, the immediate past Attorney General and Commissioner of Justice in Imo State, loves all things, hopes all things and endures all things. Such is one figure whose personality and conduct have garnered attention and respect, and indeed worthy of emulation.
Talking of a man who has all the time devoted his life and love; first to his family, second to his law profession, and then thirdly to politics, he is indeed a man to behold. In all these, Akaolisa finds pleasure in serving God and humanity which of course, has kept him moving forward. His dedication and attachment to his faith as a Catholic, no doubt resonates in the kind of belief he carries to fulfill his passion.
One of the most striking aspects of Akaolisa is his unwavering loyalty. Even after his removal from office, he continues to express love and respect for Governor Hope Uzodimma. This loyalty is not superficial or transactional; it appears rooted in genuine affection and a sense of commitment. Such steadfastness in our clime is rare, as the norm usually remains tit-for-tat. But Akaolisa’s loyalty reveals a man who values personal bonds and stands by his principles, despite circumstances.
Recall that it was the same Akaolisa who stood firm for Senator Hope Uzodimma during the 2019 governorship election which he came fourth position. Akaolisa realizing his magic wand, dusted his law books and headed to the election tribunal/courts when everybody thought that the matter had ended. Due to his dexterity, and God knows-how, he ‘magically’ sought his way through and the number four person became the Number one and finally the ultimate winner.
This act of love, overriding the desire to strife or compete, highlights a man whose emotional bonds are rooted in genuine care and conviction. It is a reminder that true loyalty is often driven by love, not convenience. His emotional response - being unhappy about his removal yet still loving his boss - demonstrates resilience fueled by deep affection.

All through his career as a legal luminary, Akaolisa has been perceived as a man of integrity. With this kind of mindset, humanity will excel, leadership will grow to become the norm in the society, and service will be served with love, kindness and integrity.
