In Ajoni LGA, a middle aged lady was kidnapped and raped to death. They demanded ₦1.5M, Canadian Loud, Cocaine, Mkpuru Mmiri, and Cartons of beer to release her corpse.
The villagers rallied, raised cash equivalent because they didn’t know where to get the drugs mentioned. Four brave men who went to deliver the cash, were siezed.
The kidnappers sent a message to the village asking for two virgin girls for their release, or they too will be killed.
Apparently, this has been going on for years in Ekiti, as the terrorists move freely and has cut off the communities access to water or hospitals, keeping them caged.
Six towns are under siege Itapaji, Iyemero, Oke-Ako, Irele, Ijowa and Ipao and according to locals, their political representatives; both senator and rep have not said a word, instead they’re comfortable sending condolences messages.
The community warned that if it continues, it could become a genocide and they’d be forced to retaliate. They’ve called on the President to look into the matter.
