History was made yesterday at the Ladi Kwali Hall, Abuja Continental Hotel as Dr. Chetachi-Ecton Nwoga officially took the bold step and purchased the All Progressives Congress (APC) Nomination and Expression of Interest Forms to contest for the Imo East Senatorial District (Owerri Zone) in the 2027 General Elections.
Her bold action was not just a declaration, it is a movement. A movement for justice. A movement for true representation, and a movement to reclaim the voice and dignity of Owerri Zone.
Standing here in the above picture with national party officials, she has sent a clear message to the political establishment that Owerri Zone will no longer be sidelined, adding that the era of silence is over!
She said, "To the good people of Owerri Zone, this is your call to action. Rise beyond division. Stand beyond fear. Unite behind a cause greater than individuals.
"The time to take our destiny into our own hands is NOW. The time to rewrite our story is NOW. The time to win is NOW.
"Owerri Zone, the storm has begun… and victory is inevitable!"
