PDP Appoints Directors For Atiku’s Campaign Committee, as Atiku Appoints Ologbondiyan As Campaign Spokesperson

The Presidential Campaign Organisation (PCO) of the Peoples Democratic Party has approved the appointment of Directors and Deputy Directors for the National Campaign Management Committee (NCMC).

This is according to a statement signed by the Director-General of the PCO, Aminu Tambuwal.

“The Directors are to please contact the DDG, Administration, Prof. Adewale Oladipo for further details,” the statement said.

“It is believed that your commitment to the overall success of the Campaign will justify the confidence reposed in you by the leadership of our Party.”

Atiku Appoints Ologbondiyan As Campaign Spokesperson

Presidential candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party and former Vice President of Nigeria, Atiku Abubakar has appointed Mr. Kolawole Stephen Ologbondiyan, former National Publicity Secretary of the PDP as one of his spokesperson for the 2023 presidential campaign.

According to a statement by the Atiku’s Media Adviser, Mr Paul Ibe, the appointment takes effect immediately.

“Ologbondiyan joins other spokespersons earlier appointed by the presidential candidate to project the unique selling points of Atiku Abubakar and keep the electorate updated about goings on in the campaign,” the statement partly read

Ologbondiyan was former National Publicity Secretary of the PDP (Dec. 2017-Dec. 2021). He was the Director of Media and Publicity, at the PDP Presidential Campaign Council (2019 Presidential Election), and is now a member of the National Executive Committee (NEC) of the party.

He was Special Adviser (Media and Publicity) to the former President of the Senate, Senator David Mark (2007-2015).

Mr Ibe’s brief communique further stated that “Ologbondiyan is a highly experienced journalist endowed with requisite skills of communication.

“He rose through the ranks from being Proof Reader and Production Editor to becoming Assistant Politics Editor, Politics Editor, Group Politics Editor, Deputy Editor (Daily), and Digital Editor (Online) of the THISDAY Newspapers.

“He is married to Omolola Jackline and blessed with children.”
