It was a reign of gunfire Sunday evening as Senator Ifeanyi Ubah representing Anambra South senatorial district escaped assassination as his convoy was attacked by gunmen, killing about about three of his personal aides and security personnel attached to him. The incident occurred around 7pm Sunday along Enugwu-Ukwu axis of Anambra State.
Information reaching Tdpnewsng.com indicate that the senator was luck to escape the deadly attacked due to the fact that the vehicle he he was riding in was bullet-proofed.
Passersby were seen screaming and running hell-ter-scatter and confused.
No confirmation from the police as at the time of filling this report.
